New Horizon Medical Solutions, Soring Announce Wound Debridement Sales Collaboration

The Söring Ultrasonic-Assisted Wound debridement system can be used to remove fibrin tissues and break up biofilms.

New Horizon Medical Solutions (NHMS) has announced a new strategic collaboration with Soring, the U.S. affiliate of Söring (Germany) for the sale of its Ultrasonic Wound Debridement (UAW) device. This collaboration aims to enhance wound treatment across various medical settings.

“The use of SONOCA 185 and the UAW instruments for Ultrasonic Wound Debridement guided by SnapshotGLO and monitored by SnapshotNIR, can significantly improve wound management and lead to better patient outcomes,” said Jeffrey Alan Niezgoda, M.D., chief medical officer of Kent Imaging and NHMS board membe. “These devices synergistically optimize wound bed preparation prior to CAMPs application.”

The Söring Ultrasonic-Assisted Wound debridement system consists of an ultrasonic generator and an ultrasonic instrument and is intended to debride and cleanse chronic and acute wounds. The instrument can be used to remove fibrin tissues (e.g. necroses, fibrin, scab, and pus) and break up biofilms. It improves wound status and promotes wound healing in diabetic foot syndrome, decubitus ulcers, burns, post-surgical wounds, and post-traumatic wounds.

“This collaboration reflects our belief that the future of wound care lies in combining advanced technology with evidence-based clinical solutions,” New Horizon Medical Solutions CEO Will Hall added. “By bringing Söring’s ultrasonic system into our portfolio, we’re expanding access to tools that address critical gaps in treatment while improving efficiency and outcomes across care settings.”

New Horizon Medical Solutions considers itself a pioneering organization in advanced wound care technologies, committed to developing and delivering biologically derived human placental allograft products. NHMS’s product portfolio includes amniotic membranes, placental tissues, and skin grafts for chronic wounds, surgical reconstruction, burns, and orthopedic procedures. Through evidence-based design and precision manufacturing, NHMS strives to enhance patient outcomes in clinical practice.
